Please allow us to tell you a
little more about the affiliates of KOL, (KASHRUT OF LATIN
AMERICA), who
our affiliates are, and what is their relationship with KOL.
What does it mean to be an Affiliate of KOL
(KASHRUT
OF LATIN AMERICA)?
Being
an AFFILIATE of KOL, KASHRUT OF LATIN AMERICA means that the advisory and
consulting firm KOL, KASHRUT OF LATINA MERICA is “connected to” OR works
together with its affiliates to achieve their objectives. A possible option
for affiliation may include that KOL provides
factories to certify KOSHER to their affiliates which have a good
fit between production company and Kosher Supervision. It may also be
that KOL supports its affiliates with quality Kashrut consulting and
advisory services possibly including but not limited to services, guidance,
technical advice, representation in other countries, or support with data,
manuals, training, or other services.
KOL, KASHRUT OF LATIN AMERICA
WILL NOT:

KOL won’t be able to decide for any of our
affiliates without authorization.

KOL won’t be able to secure a certification on
behalf of our affiliates.

KOL won’t object to the personal rules or policies
of our affiliates.

KOL won’t further distribute the professional
documents of KOL's affiliates without authorization.

KOL won’t act on behalf
of any of our affiliates without prior authorization from our
affiliates.
-
KOL chooses to focus on
kashrus for production facilities - not restaurants or shechitah.
KOL, KASHRUT OF LATIN AMERICA
CAN:
-
We will have direct communication with one or more managers of the kosher
certifications mentioned, which will allow us to meet the objectives of KOL,
KASHRUT OF LATIN AMERICA.

We can recommend
the certification with any of these affiliates to the clients (factories to be
certified or to the different certifications of Latin America) of the advisory
and consulting firm KOL, KASHRUT OF LATIN AMERICA
for double
certification, international, or national certification to be obtained without
additional complications.

We are able
to inspect (or pre-inspect) factories in Latin America and process the
certification documentation to any of KOL’s affiliates. Note: KOL, KASHRUT
OF LATIN AMERICA is not the one who makes the decision to certify. Certification
will be determined by the affiliated supervision. KOL is aware in some cases,
the affiliates may also want to send their supervisors after KOL, KASHRUT OF
LATIN AMERICA sends the reports and recognition that it is a factory with
your standards to the affiliates.

There is a
spectrum of Kashrut standards and certifying agencies. Not all production
companies and Kosher certifying houses are well-suited to each other. After
Kol’s inspection, we will recommend the Kosher supervision agency(s) based on
the products, process, facilities, marketing target client, demographics and
goals of the production companies.
Kashrut Of Latin America will know how to make
modifications to be able to increase the kashrus level if it is required for
the client. Although, KOL can work with the client, it does not mean that the
client is at the level of ALL affiliates. KOL can work with whatever level of demand is necessary,
even if it is not the level of demand of ALL KOL affiliates. If a client
is at the level of one of its affiliates, it is enough to be able to work with
that level.

KOL, KASHRUT OF LATIN AMERICA also offers a separate service as a neutral
intermediary between Kosher supervisions or between production companies. This
service requires authorization from the production company.
